Anorthosite, primarily composed of calcium-rich plagioclase feldspar, is an igneous rock with a striking appearance. Often found in lunar highlands and on Earth in various mountainous regions, anorthosite boasts a light grey to nearly white colour, with some iron staining in parts of the Harris anorthosite. Its unique composition and appearance make it a great and varied choice for jewellery.
These pendants offer wearers a connection to celestial landscapes and the wonders of the cosmos, making them both aesthetically pleasing and spiritually evocative.
